On the Abstract Side I enoy the freedom of abstract painting and the opportunity to express a unique vision.

"Abstract Annapolis - Cityscape 1" watercolor chosen for the 2006 Artworks Annapolis posters and brochures

Beginning in 2003 I began to study under impressionists Lee Boynton and John Ebersberger. Both of whom studied under Henry Hensche (who studied under Hawthorne). Through their instruction I'm gaining a new vision of color when I paint. Seeing the true color of the light on an object. Below are some studies and finished paintings in the impressionist style.
